On June 21-22, the “2017 China Garlic Annual Meeting” hosted by the China Chamber of Commerce of Import and Export of Foodstuffs,Native Produce & Animal By-Products (CFNA)was held in Pizhou City, Jiangsu Province. Mr. Bian Zhenhu, President of CFNA, representatives from relevant government departments of major producing areas such as Jiangsu, Henan and Shandong attended the meeting. Zhang Liming, the chairman of our group , was invited as the chairman of the Garlic Branch of the CFNA.

With the theme of “stabilizing the international market of garlic and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the garlic industry”, this annual meeting attracted garlic manufacturers from 15 countries and regions including China, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, the United States, Argentina and the Middle East. More than 200 people from traders, retailers, experts and scholars and related associations attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Chairman Zhang Liming gave a welcome speech on behalf of the Garlic Branch of the CFNA. He hoped that everyone would use this annual meeting to further enhance their grasp and understanding of the market, to stabilize garlic international and domestic markets, and to promote the health of the garlic industry. Active efforts are made for sustainable development.

During the conference, representatives of relevant government organizations, as well as the heads of major garlic import and export enterprises at home and abroad, exchanged and shared information on world garlic production, trade conditions and industrial development with participants, and brought professional policy interpretation and industry analysis to the participants. 

During the annual meeting, in order to recognize the enterprises that struggled in the first-line export of garlic for many years, the organizing committee of the conference selected the top ten export enterprises of China's garlic in 2016 according to the statistics of China Customs Statistics, and issued a licensing ceremony. Our company won the honorary title of “2016 China Top 10 Garlic Export Enterprises”.
